Almost nothing makes me cry. Only very specific things do, this was one of them, more so just simple and clean, but this being a softer version, made me lose it. This took me right back to the first time I ever experienced that intro. 9 years ago when I was 4. An amazing time I will never be able to truly relive, I’m just gonna go play kh1 for the hell of it and cry some more.

I never got into this game growing up, I was really young when it came out- but one of my most beloved people on this Earth has been playing it religiously since it came out when they were 10, and has been showing me "movies" of all the cut scenes and plot points to help me understand bc it's not really a play style I tend to get into. I can't remember how many times I've cried. I love these stupid kids so much and I think about them all the time. And to my best friend, who talked themselves out of legally naming themselves Roxas but used the middle name someone gave him in a fanfic to still be close to him- I don't know if you realize how much of *you* I'm seeing watching Sora and Roxas and all their friends, but it's making me love you that much more. Every step forward will always be a step toward home, my love.

I remember being sent this video by a friend a couple years ago. She wasn't into Kingdom Hearts, but knew (by my own rants) that I was (still am) a diehard fan. I miss you friend. I hope you're doing well wherever you are now. :) Also this video is 12 years, 6 months, 1 week, and 4 days old. (no I did not count that myself.
